I am 57 years old 5'11 and 190lbs. The Bike fits me fine and provides excellent exercise at what ever level you want to push it too. I decided to drop my Club Membership and Build a Home Gym, and the Marcy Air 1 Fan Bike is my favorite piece. It rides smooth and is a snap to put together by yourself, with most of the tools you need to assemble it included. I Cranked the front foot rests down hard with a Crescent Wrench, but basically its a snap to put together, about 45 minutes for me by myself.The Bike combines an upper and lower body work together, you can not turn off the upper arm extensions, so if you just want a true bicycle workout, its not the bike for you. You can of course just sit upright and pedal without engaging your arms, but that is not as ergonomic. It even comes with 2 AA batteries for the computer. The bike appears to be designed for the long-haul. For example, there are several places in the assembly where 4 bolts are used instead of 2, although 2 would seem to be adequate. Sitting on the bike gives a confident feeling of sturdiness and balance. I purposely leaned in all directions but never felt like I was anywhere close to tipping over. I typically use the bike for 20-30 minutes at a time. The ergonomics are very good in that I can end a session without having any unusual cramps/strains in my body. Although the seat is large and fairly soft I find myself shifting around on the seat about every 5 minutes to appease my bottom. That may just be me, but I think that a... A large scary label fell out of the instructions that said "This product contains chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. This Product is not a toy and it's not designed/intended to be used by children 12 years of age or younger." This prompts me to want to call the manufacturer to find out which part(s) they are talking about. I took off a star because of this and the noise coming from under the shroud covering the main mechanism. Not the best way to find this information out after the product has been delivered and unpacked. I hope I don't have to return it. (UPDATE: I called IMPEX and they said the seat material is the culprit if it is eaten. They are required to make the statement by law). Constructed of 1” X 2.25” rectangle and 1.25" round, 14 gauge steel tubing, the Air 1 is built to last. Keep comfortable while pedaling on the high density foam seat with durable vinyl covering, foam covered handle bars, and weighted and counterbalanced pedals with adjustable foot straps. The frame is finished with a durable powder coat finish and the shroud cover is made of molded ABS. The computer panel is battery powered, requiring 2 AA type batteries that are not included.
