This is my first exercise bike, so I am not sure what to expect from a home bike, but it seems like it has everything that a bike at the gym has. There are different levels of resistance, there are 6 preprogrammed "rides" where the resistance changes according to schedule. It has quick start, and it only takes couple of seconds for it to start and recognize your movement.The bikes was easy to assemble, but it is very heavy and I needed help carrying to its place. It is not foldable, and it takes quite a lot of space, The manual asks for 67'' by 56'' for comfortable use. All the tools for assembly are included with the package, except for scissors or knife to cut through packaging. It took me about 30 minutes to assemble. The assembly instructions are clear with large drawings, all the hardware is marked, and there is no way you can mix up anything. The seat height is adjustable, but not the tilt, and the seat is quite hard to seat on. The height... The Universal U-10 is a very nice stationary upright indoor bike. The bike is shipped in a nice size box weighing around 60 lbs. The box says it takes 2 to move and it would be easier for 2 to pick it up but 1 person can move this heavy box. The bike is partially disassembled but will packaged.It took a little less than 30 minutes to assemble. I laid everything out first and unwrapped all the pieces which took me about half my assembly time. The instruction book is well laid out for assemble with instructions and pictures. All the pieces were there and there were an extra bolt, washer and cap that is included. Tools are included so you do not need anything but 30 minutes of your time. The bike looks nice once assembled. It appears to be well made and pretty sturdy. I am a little over 200 lbs and the bike seems sturdy under me. Although the Nautilus Universal U10 box had a warning for two people to lift the box, it wasn't too heavy. Assembly wasn't complicated, however, I used my socket wrench for one difficult spot to reach that didn't work well with the included wrench. Assembly was easy enough; I didn't read the instructions or study the manual for set-up.The display operates using four D size batteries or a power supply, and neither are included. That's the reason I deducted a star, as I feel the company should provide a power supply for the customer. The power supply has to be ordered directly from the company. We installed four batteries for now. The display offers a quick start / stop program for manual selection of difficulty, with three different modes/challenge options.
