I like it colder for exercise so never turn the heat up. For the first 5-10 minutes of my exercise sessions in the wither I would be chilled by the hefty breeze coming off the fan so I would pop the fender on until I warmed up. I purchased the new Airdyne AD6 and ordered the wind screen as well - expecting to need it. Oddly, there is no breeze coming off of this bike (unless you're standing in front of it). This wind screen is totally unnecessary. Save your money or at the very least, don't order it with the bike. Use the bike for a week or so and make your decision later. The product is simple plastic with elastic straps that hook to the fan cage. Super simple to install. All was great until I used the bolt to tighten the seat. It did not tighten the seat then it stripped the nylon threads. Luckily I had a correct size galvanized bolt to tighten seat to post. Otherwise an awesome product! |
