I researched this purchase extensively. There is a California company with numerous youtube videos that tries to convince you that these are all but impossible to assemble yourself. The bike came packed in styrofoam such that there was no damage. Anyone with rudementary skills can assemble this bike. The bike even came with all the required wrenches, screwdrivers and hex drivers. 4 bolts attached the two feet assemblies. Attach the handlebars and seat to the respective posts. Slide the posts in position. Attache the pedals and you are ready to go. I did not have to perform any adjustments to the main assembly. THe bike is smooth and quiet. It does take some getting use to the fact that it doesn't coast when you stop pedaling. I'm still working to wrap my head around that. The seat is a real bike seat. It is a standard mount so you can mount your favorite seat to the bike. The handlebars are reasonably correct, but nothing like a real bike. You can't swap out your own...
